MUSYNC

The Creative Intelligence Layer

Musync starts before doors open. Pre-show audience intelligence that predicts crowd energy, pacing risk, and engagement windows before a single act takes the stage.

Where We Are Today

From One Pilot To A System

Pilot 1 was a proof of concept. The eight weeks since have turned the methodology into a complete system, opened the conversation with build partners, and confirmed Pilot 2. This is what has happened since Synthony.

21 March 2026

Pilot 1 — Synthony Festival, Auckland Domain

14 sealed predictions across 10 acts. Three independent observers across front, centre, and GA floor. Methodology run live for the first time at scale. Intelligence report delivered to Duco Events.

Pilot Completed
Late March

First commercial partner returned unprompted

After receiving the Pilot 1 intelligence report, Duco Events came back to continue the conversation. The first real signal that the product resonates with someone running shows at scale.

April

SOVL methodology fully rebuilt and locked

All six sections of the methodology pressure-tested. 49 prediction principles confirmed and locked. The Observation Bible, Brief Enrichment Protocol, and SOVL Knowledge Base are all complete. The system is fully documented.

Build partner conversation opened

A formal mutual NDA was signed with a leading New Zealand venture studio. Build partner conversations are now live, focused on the technical architecture for scaling beyond manual observation.

15 April 2026

Live Nation antitrust ruling — independence protected

The April 2026 ruling confirmed that the major incumbents in live music cannot structurally hold an independent intelligence position. Their commercial relationships prevent them from being seen to judge show performance impartially. Musync's independent position is now structurally protected.

Data infrastructure live

A five-table Supabase database is in production. Every show, observer, prediction, interval log, and outcome is now permanently recorded. The dataset compounds from Pilot 2 onward.

Confirmed

Pilot 2 locked with second commercial partner

A second New Zealand promoter has agreed to host Pilot 2. Date is being confirmed. This pilot introduces the full four-position observer architecture including the mandatory Stage-Side Observer, addressing every gap identified in the Pilot 1 honest debrief.

Intelligence System

Three-Phase Engine

Musync operates across the full show lifecycle, building intelligence before, validating during, and learning after every event. Each phase compounds the last.

Phase 01: Pre-Show

Intelligence Brief

Before doors open, Musync builds a complete audience intelligence picture. Taste clusters, energy curve forecasts, pacing risk windows, and confidence-banded creative directives, all delivered to the production team before showtime.

  • Audience taste cluster mapping
  • Energy curve forecasting
  • Pacing risk windows
  • Creative advisory directives
  • Confidence band classification
Phase 02: During Show

Observation Layer

Trained observers log crowd signals at five-minute intervals across multiple positions. Stage-Side Observer captures the stimulus channel. No automation, no live control, pure observation that validates predictions and builds the proprietary dataset.

  • Crowd density scoring
  • Vocal response measurement
  • Movement and exit flow
  • Stage-Side Observer (SSO) channel
  • Multi-observer calibration
Phase 03: Post-Show

Learning Loop

Every show is scored. Predictions are compared against observed outcomes, classified as Hit, Near Hit, False Positive, or Miss, and fed back into the model. Over time, this builds Musync's proprietary live audience response dataset: the core moat.

  • Prediction delta analysis
  • Hit / Near Hit / Miss / False Positive scoring
  • Explainability audit trail
  • Dataset compounding
  • Model refinement loop

The Problem

When the
room dies

The industry has data everywhere. No one is reading it before showtime.

Streaming platforms, ticketing signals, demographic patterns: it all exists. The gap is an intelligence layer that translates it into actionable creative directives before the show begins.

The F1 analogy: Every team arrives at the grid with telemetry, weather models, and strategic playbooks. Creative professionals deserve the same. Musync is the pre-race briefing for live experiences.

01
Audience attention disappears.Once energy collapses mid-show, recovery is close to impossible. The room has already decided.
02
Bar and merch revenue drops.Disengaged crowds stop spending. Peak commercial windows are tied directly to crowd energy state.
03
Social momentum dies. The first posts from a show shape the narrative. A flat room produces flat content and weak organic reach.
04
Reputational damage compounds.Promoters, artists, and venues carry the memory of a bad show. Future bookings and pricing are affected.

Methodology

SOVL · The Engine Behind The Brief

SOVL is the signal architecture that powers every Musync prediction. 49 principles, three core documents, six pressure-tested sections. This is the system. Every show runs through it.

SOVL Knowledge Base

The full 49 prediction principles, locked and pressure-tested across all six sections. Every prediction generated for any show traces back to these principles.

49 Principles · Locked

Observation Bible

The certified observer training and inter-rater reliability standard. Quality control mechanism against dataset purity drift at scale. Every observer trains to the same protocol.

IRR Target ≥ 0.80

Brief Enrichment Protocol

Three approved input sources. 30 to 45 minutes per show. Public data sharpens the conditioning variables before predictions are generated. The seal stays clean.

Hard Boundary Set

Validated Intelligence

Pilot 2026

Every Musync prediction is sealed and timestamped before doors open. Chain of custody is maintained across four independent timestamps. Results are scored honestly — Hits, Near Hits, False Positives, Misses — and fed back into the system.

Founder

Built by someone who has felt the gap

Isi Filisione has spent over 15 years performing live — watching shows succeed or fail based on decisions made without real audience signal. Musync was built to change that. Not to replace creative instinct. To give it the intelligence layer it has always deserved.
